Band Information
Emerging in early 2012, Cavorts are a four piece rock and roll band from the northern frontier town of Barnsley, a place where the coal is black and the riffs even blacker.

Playing their first gig supporting Skindred to a sold out Leeds O2, Cavorts soon got noticed by distinguished Canadian label Distort Records (Alexisonfire, Cancer Bats, Comeback Kid) who released their debut EP 'Times Told' that saw them get played on Radio One. Soon after the release of the EP Cavorts were personally invited by Dragonforce to open for them on their UK leg of their 'The Power Within' tour.

Fuelled by good old fashioned energy and an honest passion for what they do, their solid punk rock work ethic means that you're just as likely to see this lot destroying a tiny venue as on the biggest stages in the country.

Cavorts have locked themselves in the studio in 2014 to record their debut album 'Got Your Brass' a brash monster of an album, 10 tracks of heavy riffage and hooks aplenty. Taking a blend of classic rock, metal, hardcore and punk, Cavorts have honed their unique style developed on their previous EP and created one hell of a record capturing the hi-octane, balls-out spirit of rock and roll. These four rowdy lads worship at the altar of the riff, perfecting punk with that grooved-out Southern flair, making for anthems you can sink your teeth into, loud enough to blow the speakers... literally.

Cavorts are ready to crank it up heavy, turn it up loud and play harder!

For Fans Of: Motorhead, Early Baroness, The Bronx, Sick Of It All and Hot Water Music.

'Got Your Brass' will be released on the 27th October 2014

Cavorts join IATDE Records and announce release of debut album!

Cavorts join IATDE Records and announce release of debut album!
We're extremely proud to announce that Cavorts have joined our roster, and we will be releasing their brash debut album 'Got Your Brass' on the 27th October 2014.

These four rowdy lads worship at the altar of the riff, perfecting punk with that grooved-out Southern flair, making for anthems you can sink your teeth into, loud enough to blow the speakers... literally.

This is what Cavorts had to say on joining IATDE Records "We're proud and excited to be working with a longstanding stalwart of the UK underground heavy/alternative music scene. In At The Deep End Records have been, and still are, home to some amazing bands and have released some amazing music, such as Gallows, Sanzen, Send More Paramedics. So, there is no doubt we are very much looking forward to our album standing alongside some of these awesome releases!"

2nd track 'Pig Of Ballast' has been re-recorded but originally version that appeared on EP 'Times Told' can be viewed below
